Canvases from yesterday

These are 12 x 12 inch canvas boards covered in three layers of gesso. The underpainting for the canvas on the left is sap green hue and the underpainting for the canvas on the right is smalt hue. I decided I needed to play with these colors to see what they can do!

The paint for both was applied with my Utrecht 206-B Tuscan Series size 12 bright brush, which I've decided I need to utilize more.
