Taking Out Some of the Busyness

It's amazing what putting a frustrating painting in the closet for a while will do for you! I have a whole new outlook on this piece now.

If you compare with the previous iteration, you'll see how I evened out the red oxide in the lower "quadrant" of the painting. I also threw some quinacridone crimson over the shirt tones and I love the result.

Now to tackle the skin tones... and that shit for hair that I have on there now...
